Sales Representative/Commercial Real Estate Advisor

SVN/Stewart Commercial Group, LLC is currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our sales and brokerage team. Brokers are responsible for contributing to the profitability of the company through identification and execution of new business opportunities and supporting the company’s leasing and general sales and business development initiatives. This initial exposure to deal volume will provide a foundation to begin sourcing larger deals. The ideal candidate will possess the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload with guidance from company principals.

SVN/Stewart Commercial Group, LLC specialties include the sale of investment real estate properties across Michigan and the USA that include Walgreens, CVS, Dollar General, apartments, office, industrial properties, etc. The open positions will focus almost exclusively on the sale of these types of properties with average values ranging from $1,000,000-$10,000,000.

As a new Associate Advisor/Sales Representative with SVN/Stewart Commercial Group you will receive direct training from the firm’s Principals. A sample of initial tasks will include: cultivating new client relationships, property research/analysis as well as marketing. New Associate Advisors/Sales Representatives will often be the initial point of contact for high net worth individuals seeking guidance and will be required to make a high volume of calls each day. In addition, the Associate Advisor/Sales Representative will have the opportunity to build his/her own client base and will be responsible for the complete representation of a buyer or seller while under the direct supervision of the firm’s Principals.

Prior experience in the real estate field is not necessary, but impeccable honesty, good judgment and superior phone skills are required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Contribute to achieving SVN/Stewart Commercial Group, LLC’s gross revenue and net operating income objectives.

*Prospect for and negotiate exclusive representation agreements with property owners, investors , and asset managers for the sale of high value commercial properties.

*Interface with clients and prospects to successfully define the parameters, terms, and limitations surrounding a possible listing and related agreements.

*Provide existing and prospective clients with current industry and market specific information as it relates to their business and investments.

*Ensure that the highest quality of communication is performed with owners and investors through monthly emails, phone calls, and hardcopy deliverables.

*Draft and prepare responses to Requests For Proposals (RFP’s) or offers to purchase in an efficient, professional, and timely manner

*Maintain regular communication with stakeholders within the existing database to discuss their investment objectives.

.*Prepare and deliver professional presentations to prospective new clients

*Conduct local and sub-market analysis for existing inventory and competitive properties to ensure accurate marketing and competitive pricing with respect to market rent, tenant improvements and rental abatement

QUALIFICATIONS

*BA/BS Degree minimum

*Prefer 2+ years of sales and/or business development experience. Relevant experience in commercial or residential real estate transactions a plus but not necessary.

*Must be able to build contacts and expand business relationships.

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Must have excellent interpersonal, customer service and negotiation skills.

*Must have excellent time management and organizational skills

*Must be able to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

*Must operate with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders

*Must have a positive, professional attitude yet personable demeanor & demonstrate professionalism at all times

*Must be able to work well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others.

*A State of Michigan real estate salesperson’s license is required and may be obtained after joining the firm.
